I am also looking forward to three weeks' time, our Men's Presentation Evening is coming and I am weighing up my targets, who I can take to town whilst filling the room with laughter. It's a great night for members, last year 100 people came (a testament to my MC skills), but this year we want MORE, we have a ridiculously good catering team now in place at Heysham so expect a first class meal and a FREE drink for your £17 ticket. Members' News
The future of our club is our junior section and this Friday we are celebrating their achievements of the 2016 season in the annual Junior Presentation Night. All are welcome to cheer on our youngsters, awarding them with their well-earned winnings. Food will be available from 6:00pm, with the main presentation taking place at 7:00pm. We will have a raffle and auction taking place with prizes available including: a return ferry to Ireland for four passengers and car (donated by P&O Ferries and Peel Ports), a Callaway Hyperlite stand bag (donated by Steve Hamblett) and nine holes with Jack Senior in the Swing Lounge, plus much more. We hope to see you there, bring the family along and have a drink or two...
Short Game Masterclass - Saturday, 19 November (11:00am - 2:00pm)
The Short Game Masterclass is back. Why not treat your short game to some much needed TLC with expert Professionals Trevor Newsham and Ryan Done? We have 10 spaces available for this exclusive and popular masterclass, our third one so far. Covers:

HGC Winter Opens
Our first Winter Open is this Thursday, with tee times available from 8.30am, FREE soup half-way and entry into the twos. All are welcome and you can book via the shop on 01524 852000, or members book via BRS. Alternately click here to book online.
The Swing Lounge Winter League is back!
I am excited to say our Swing Lounge Winter League is back, bigger and better than last year! The league will start from Tuesday, 1 November, below are a few points of what to expect including a new fourball betterball format and the top four entering a play-off (like the footy) on our Finals Weekend in March. Titleist are on board and we will have many great prizes. Details are as follows:
New courses including Celtic Manor and Royal Aberdeen.
10 courses in total to be completed (9 holes).
League format culminating in a Matchplay Play-off Weekend and Final.
Format will be Fourball Betterball with a Russian Stableford last event.
Maximum handicaps will apply.
Titleist sponsored event with top 10 receiving prizes plus a highest ladies and mixed prize.
The Winter League will end on the first weekend in March 2017.
Play will be any time excluding Wed, Fri and Sat nights.
Pairs format with no exchanging of players.
