I know some of you may moan, but when you're in retail it isn't too early to put the Christmas decorations up, even the Swing Lounge has a lovely tree up. Many of you probably hate Christmas, but look on the positive side of things, you can drop some hints to loved ones when you want something from our shop. How about this? You give us an idea of something you want and we will do our best to get it for you, we could compile a list of things wanted by our customers, and when a loved one walks in, we can sneak that new PowaKaddy FW3 with FREE cart bag into the equation... see what I did there. In the run up to Christmas we will be heavily pushing our sales, offers and treats on display in the Clubfit shop, so don't be a scrooge, make sure you accidentally share it with someone you love/want presents from. Well done to Michael Bowman and Dan Hodges for the incredible 47 points that won last Sunday's first Winter League event, they knocked Adam Hutchinson and Tony Johnson into second with their commendable 45. In third were Neil Casson and Jack Wilson again with 45, Terry Hallam and Carl Brown placed fourth with 44. In fifth with the same score was Paul Rogerson and Joe Cadwell, with our last money winning position going to Dan McCamley and John Hargreaves.
Remember with the Winter League all prize money and twos go onto your accounts after the last Winter League event in March.
Course Update
It's November and it's raining a lot, which shouldn't come as a big surprise to many of you, so it is imperative we look after our course together when the bad weather hits us hard. Unfortunately, ride on buggies are currently restricted to holes 1, 2, 3, 16, 17 and 18, fingers crossed the weather improves. All trolley users, please keep to the rough/paths and if you can get round without a trolley then please do so as it will help us out a whole bunch! HGC Children's Party 2016 - Saturday, 10 December from 2:00pm (food available at 3:00pm)
Come join us for our annual Children's Christmas Party with Trevor Cooke, games music and prizes in our festive funland here at Heysham Golf Club. Junior members, children of parent members and grandparent members are all welcome. Tickets are available behind the bar and will cost £5 per person.
If you're lucky Santa will arrive at around 4.15pm to hand out some prezzies for the lucky kids.
