Coach's corner This week is the start of my winter packages, so if you haven't already signed-up there is still time, lessons can be used anytime up to Saturday, 31 March 2018. See below for the winter options. This week I did some work with Simon “Beanie” Robinson who has had a great season this year and is looking at trying to get him back into the county squad where he rightly belongs. Two extra special mentions this week, first to our very own Meg Cullen who was named Owl’s player of the week at William Wood University in her first competition out in the States with a level par total, also with the Owls on the men's front Jack Clarkson who won again with an impressive -6 total. This lad is seriously going places. I’d like to wish Jack Senior all the best over the next four weeks in the final series of Challenge Tour events to try and gain his full tour card for next year, he's been playing solid golf, but just not quite getting the reward. He's off to China, Dubai and then Oman, come on the Bear! He currently sits right on the top 45 cut off point, but these courses really suit his game so fingers crossed. Friday saw our annual junior prize presentation with a slight difference, I set up a five hole “night golf” par three course. Luckily the weather stayed fine and the glow sticks came in handy for a rave later on. Thanks for all your support and sponsors. Cheers everyone!
