Ryan Done - Head Coach
We've had a few tough weeks with the awful weather we are currently facing, but thank you those students who have braved the conditions and to those staying patient when we postpone a lesson or two. Despite the weather I have managed to have some good sessions using the SAM Putt Lab down in the studio, the equipment gives me great stats and highlights what parts of the stroke and set-up can be worked on. I always like to see people practice their stroke at home, ask Paul about his 'Putt Out' , he picked it up online. It was awesome to catch up with my sensei Trevor Foster, he's playing some amazing golf and will be pushing his way into the England Seniors' team in 2018. I've only made a few adjustments, but those we have made have really clicked in his swing. Our junior academy was well supported this past Saturday despite the shockingly cold weather. 25 attended the morning session, a brilliant effort and one that made me feel proud. The 25 then braved the conditions out on the golf course playing in their mini Winter League organised by Podge. It was also then great to see more youngsters enjoying golf with Paul in the afternoon at his bambino sessions. Things are starting to look good for our junior section, a section that is a big part of our 2018 plan. Enjoy your golf this week and get a lesson booked in to start working towards your 2018 golfing goals. Click here to get in touch for more details. |
