So we know Storm Ciara brought unimaginable joy with her this weekend, so on Sunday me and Ryan had a little walk to see how the driving range was doing. It was very wet, to say the least!

We had to close for a few days, more because of the high winds rather than the wet weather. High winds can blow down trees/branches and the last 100 yards to the range are through a canopy of trees! It's for your own good!

Coaching news

Ciara won't win!

This week with the bad weather we transferred the studio into its inside mode! It does take a little bit of a turn round so we only tend to do it if we teach inside for several days in a row.

Ryan still managed to do a couple of days full coaching before turning it back round to get big Arnie in for a fitting yesterday! Hopefully, Arnie will stay off the bus this year with a new set of Callaway Big Bertha Irons, he absolutely munched them!

In 2 weeks we will be holding our first fitting event of the season with Cobra Golf. Bookings can be made via the booking system, just follow the link here to our website.

I have just done a fitting today for Darren, a left-hand golfer who's clubhead speed was maxing out near 110mph! Managed to find a good sturdy shaft which can handle that speed, whilst still giving him the desired forgiveness! He will be looking forward to his new SZ driver, the Rogue Silver 70 shaft did the trick!

The green staff have been busy between storms mowing fairways and rough as well as aerating the greens using the Air 2G2 by blowing air into them! You can see how lovely and clear the fairways look as viewed from the first tee! Lovely!
