Short Game Academy

Our world class Short Game Facility was opened in 2016 and inside 12 months it was awarded a Lancashire Golf Innovation Award. The Academy includes 4 separate areas available for practice and is not only a popular place with members but also visiting golfers from the Morecambe Bay Area. As a Lancashire County Coach Ryan also hosts the Academy Squads here each year in a skills testing day.

The 4 areas include a 100 Yard Pitching Area, complete with an astro-turf green and 4 yardage options at 35,50,75 and 100. This area will never close due to its astro grass and is linked by pathway making it a pleasant area to improve your distance control with the wedges! If you're interested we also hold over 30 DEMO wedges from Callaway, Cleveland and Titleist. Our friendly staff will talk you through testing these out!

Our other 3 areas include a large chipping green to test your shots under 30 yards, a putting green and a bunker area with green. All 3 of these areas are readily available 7 days a week!

Heysham members and Academy members have FREE access to our Academy all year round using the Callaway Chromesoft balls provided by our team.

Not a member? No problem, you can come and use our Academy for only £10.00 for the day. A deposit will be required for the balls.
