The Swing Lounge| A few Thank You's

Trevor Newsham

24 October 2024

The Swing Lounge has now been open around 10 days and we are enjoying people coming in to try the new equipment. It's an exciting time and we are very proud of how it has turned out. So, on that note we would like to Thank the following businesses for their incredible help over the past 6 weeks. The Swing Lounge is designed to not only allow us improve our services but also to give YOU the opportunity to play more golf, especially in the Winter Months! We hope you enjoy playing in there as much as we do!

Bowker IT| A Big Thank You to Stu Errington and his Team for their work setting us with our computer & camera systems. Their expertise in this area was absolutely vital and exceptionally tidy! Having the right system for the Foresight GC Hawk Simulator was a necessity and they smashed it! You can contact them here

EMC Electrical Services| Having HGC Member Scott Curran on hand with his business helped us get the ball rolling on installing the Hawk. His help with installing lighting around the Lounge was brilliant. Thank You to him and his staff! You can contact them here

RP Joinery| My good friend Ryan (Ronnie to many) has the skills to do more than what we needed him for, but what we did need he absolutely smashed. Thanks Ronnie for building us a new back desk for using during coaching sessions and for building the new plinth for the mat area. Follow his facebook page here

Paul Rogerson Painter & Decorator| 'Podge' has an amazing reputation in the area and we know why as we've used him for years. Thanks to Podge The Lounge got a new lick of paint ready for the re-opening. For any quotes from Podge please call 07960405335

Darren Braithwaite| Thank You to Darren and his father-in-law Ronnie for helping us lay the new mat and astro turf in the hitting area. You can find them around the club if you would like any flooring or carpeting in your house.

A Big Thank You also to Mick Tinkler for lending a hand rendering a few bits in the Lounge, for the boys at CEF and to also James at Foresight for his help. Another mention for the HGC Green staff boys for helping remove the old system as well right at the beginning.

If I have missed someone off I am sorry as always there is bit's of help from all our members here at Heysham. We look forward to welcoming them all in the NEW Lounge in the near future.
