Competitions News

The Spring Medal is under wraps and despite now being off preferred lies there was still some excellent scoring. 

In division 1 Josh Lamb was top of the pile with a brilliant 73-7-66 just pipping Tom Rogerson by a shot. The great thing is those to have been active with us in the off-season with lessons and improving their equipment. In third with the best gross of the day was Matt Birch with a 70-2-68.

In division 2 there was an amazing 11 golfers that beat Par with Ryan Grime continuing his winter form coming in third with 66. He was beat on a card play-off by Dave Walsh with both finishing a further 3 behind the legend that is Arnie Duckworth. His 81-18-63 picking up the win. 

Further into division 3 again scoring was strong with 6 golfers beating par and a card play-off separating the top 2. Brad Diamond's 65 was enough to pip Rob Howard courtesy of a count back. In third was Wayne Downham with a 88-21-67. Again excellent scoring from the Top 3.

170 took part in The Spring Medal showing how competitive everyone is feeling ahead of the new season.
