A busy week at HGC with a couple opens on at the club plus the 4th Medal on Sunday (sponsored by Bathtime) a smaller field for that this week with 'only' 167 taking part.
In the medal, Aidan 'new clubs' Hartin fired in a good round to win division 1 with a 67 ahead of Scott Lee, Dave Hutchinson and Iain Lighbody who respectively finished behind on a card play-off.
Division 2 was also as tight with Dave Robinson, now flying the flay of good golf in his family, sneaking a win via a card play-off with a 77-11-66. Sean Russell-Lindeque unluckily missing out but 2 shots ahead of the glowing Jim Miller in 3rd. He thought off a few, including Stu Brainsby who shouldn't be in that division anyway!
In division 3 we unbelievably had 3 scores on all on 64 giving us a top 3 so tight, only a card play-off could separate them! Andy Davidson fired in 95-31-64 to beat Mike Pritchard and Mike Fisher into 2nd & 3rd.
