Competitions News:

Back to a Team Event this week and 120 golfers took to the HGC links with full greens and a bit of decent weather. I saw this first hand because I was actually in the shop whilst Linda enjoyed her sabbatical from work. 15 holes still in play but with full greens which was a nice bonus for all that played and only a card play-off could separate the top 2. Pete Savage, Steve Taylor, John Smith & Trevor Whiteside (sing his name to the tune of Mr Brightside by the Killers) did enough to finish in top spot with 76 points. Special mention for Arnie finishing in 3rd, it must have been the putter Arnie?

Plenty of 2's meant for a lower total and a reminder all this gets put together to be paid on to your shop accounts at the end of the winter league.

Gentlemens Dinner 2026| Friday 13th February

Join 2026 Captain Scott Lee in his first official event at Heysham Golf Club. He will be joined by guest speaker Gerry Farrell, former Professional footballer & European Tour caddie. 

Tickets are £20 available from the Bar which include a 2-course meal
