Another kind Sunday of weather and 56 pairs taking part in the usual Winter League affair with us approaching the back third of the Winter League. Strong scoring and hopefully we are getting closer to all 18 holes being in play so we could see some even bigger scores. A sneaky win, but a big one for Mick Cannon & Graham Spavin; with 42 points enough to sneak past on a card play-off. Unlucky for Martin Woodhouse & Oli Howarth who finished in 2nd place.

Linda is now back in action so that is my Sunday retirement back for the foreseeable, it was nice to see everyone for my one token Sunday!

Join 2026 Captain Scott Lee in his first official event at Heysham Golf Club. He will be joined by guest speaker Gerry Farrell, former Professional footballer & European Tour caddie.

Tickets are £20 available from the Bar which include a 2-course meal
